Hotel Arts
In this new chapter, I am going to start with just a small trip that we took to Calgary a few weekends ago. We always go away for a long weekend, and take some time for ourselves on our anniversary.
This year I decided to surprise my husband with a magical weekend at the beautiful Hotel Arts. It was a great place to stay downtown Calgary, within walking distance to dining and shopping all around the Beltline area as well as the downtown core. The rooms, service and cool decor featuring art works through out the hotel, were wonderful. We had a room that overlooked the city scape which was beautiful at night.
My favourite part was Poolside. The '‘in’’ thing to do at the Hotel Arts, is to wear your hotel robes down by the pool! And is was not unusual to see people though out the hotel in their robes. Definitely my kind of chill. You don’t even have to get dressed for breakfast!
