While travelling through Italy, I ran across this glorious ‘garden’ town. The town was filled with plants and flowers and many of the residents grew plants and flowers outside their homes, to partake in the yearly garden contest. The street that displayed the best garden displays, won a ceramic plaque that is placed on the building at the end of each winners street. The greenery in this town was amazing, as well as the pink marble featured in most homes and buildings.
